Regarding fluoropolymer lining: 'suitable substrate design'

Introducing the basic substrate design for applying lining (thick film)!

We would like to introduce the design of the substrate suitable for fluororesin lining. This is the basic substrate design when applying lining (thick film). Please also refer to it for coating (thin film). For the "corner sections," it is ideal to finish with a minimum of 4R, and if possible, 10R or more. If the inner radius is small, increasing the film thickness will make it more susceptible to the thermal contraction of the fluororesin. At the "welded sections," it is necessary to weld all joint areas (both inside and outside). Additionally, if attaching pipes or similar, all joint areas on the coating surface must also be welded. Unevenness in welding is not an issue as long as the weld is smooth. Please note that pinholes in the weld are not acceptable. If you consult with us before the design phase, we can provide suitable fluororesin lining. *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.

Process of fluororesin (Teflon) lining

Fluororesin lining refers to a thick film, such as overlapping coatings. Our company uses a fluororesin lining of 400μ or more.

This is a notice from Daito Kasei Co., Ltd. regarding the "process of fluororesin (Teflon) lining."

Before Fluororesin Lining

Introducing photos of fluoride resin lining that has been permeated with the drug solution! Grade table also included.

We would like to introduce a photo of the fluororesin lining that has been permeated by the chemical solution. Due to the permeation of the chemical solution, it has entered between the lining film and the substrate, passing through the fluororesin lining. It can be confirmed that the chemical solution is permeating from the corner area, and because the radius of the corner is small, the lining film in the corner is either thin or significantly affected by factors such as shrinkage. In the grade table, we introduce the water repellency, permeation resistance, and structure of the coating film for each type of fluororesin lining. *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.

Fluororesin lining

Resin lining is characterized by its ability to create a thicker coating compared to conventional coatings.

We offer "resin lining construction" for various materials. "Resin lining" is characterized by its ability to create a thicker formed film, unlike conventional coatings. By lining parts with fluororesin in highly corrosive chemical transport lines, which cannot be handled by standard metal piping, we enhance corrosion resistance. Unlike coatings, this method uses sheet-like materials, making it fundamentally less prone to pinholes. [Features] ■ It is a method with a high level of processing difficulty, but skilled workers carry out the processing. ■ Corrosion resistance is improved by lining with fluororesin. ■ This method is fundamentally less prone to pinholes. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
